Teachers play a very important role in a student’s life. It is a teacher who guides a student through his or her career. So it is very significant to be adequately equipped with resources that will make the teacher an ideal role model to the students. To achieve this, D.Ed, B.Ed or M.Ed courses were introduced, which will teach a person about teaching and the different aspects associated with it.
The National Council of Educational Research and Training has been given different types of works covering approximately all aspects of teaching education and quality improvement in teaching education. The National Policy on Education (1986) and its revised version (1992) say that the status of teachers reflects the socio-cultural philosophy of a society.
D.El.Ed
Diploma in Elementary Education:
D.El.Ed or Diploma in Elementary Education is a two-year diploma course which is offered to candidates who wish to pursue a career as a teacher in primary or upper primary schools. D.El.Ed is a popular course amongst students who have completed Class 12 and wish to enter into the field of teaching and education.
Sumaiya Education SocietysH & T COLLEGE OF EDUCATION has launched a Two-year full-time Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (N.C.T.E), a statutory body of Govt. of India, Western Regional Committee (WRC), Bhopal, affiliated with Maharashtra State Board of Education Division, Pune. to be offered from July 2013 academic session. The seat intake capacity of the institute is Fifty (50).
The Programme covers a wide range of areas as recommended by National Policy on Education 1986, National Curriculum Framework for Teacher Education-2009, National Curriculum Framework-2005 and Right To Education Act 2009. It will enhance the understanding and competencies of in-service teachers at elementary level for carrying out the teaching learning process effectively. The programme will further strengthen the professional development of teachers and sense of commitment in teachers towards educating children focusing on the latest concerns of the school teachers and information and communication technology in particular.
College & Office Hours:
The Classes will be held in the morning from 8:00 a.m. on wards. The Office will remain open for the Junior College students from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on all working days.
Library Facilities:
Library facilities are available for the students of Junior College. The library will be opened for study and issue of books from 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. on all working days. Any change in hours will be notified from time to time.
